The Hinging Point

What gives a widow courage to go on after her husband has died?

What is the hope of a cripple?

How can the parents of a handicapped or mentally ill child live their live free from anxiety and depression?

Why would anyone who was blind be encouraged when they think of the afterlife?

Where do the thoughts go of a couple who loses their baby?

What truth does the family of a loved one who has been tragically lost focus on?

What is the final answer to pain, mourning, diseases, sudden problems and fatal accidents?

The answer:
The hope God gives us because of the bodily resurrection Jesus Christ offers to all who believe in Him.

I believe that at the center of Christianity is the resurrection of our Saviour. Without it, Christianity would be just like any other religion. We would be serving a dead God. Our faith would be futile (worthless), as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:16-17, if Christ had not risen. BUT Christ conquered death!!! He is risen! He is in control! Praise Him! Sin-My sin and your sin- has been atoned for!

I pray that God will fill me and you with the hope of the resurrection today!
